Collaborating to Unlock the Power of PIDs
A how-to webinar from OA Switchboard partners and participants on opportunities to capture and maximise usage of identifiers.

Persistent identifiers (PIDs) are essential for implementing policies, realising agreements, and developing new business models to support a broader move to open access (OA) in scholarly publishing. In this how-to style webinar, the OA Switchboard is joined by a panel of industry professionals in a quick-fire round of practical (but powerful!) use cases and solutions showing different ways PIDs are playing a role in bridging workflow gaps, enabling interoperability of standardized data end-to-end, and supporting OA initiatives. This webinar will be offered free of charge thanks to our host Aries Systems.

Together, we will cover:

How relationships in metadata underpin Crossref and related infrastructure
